Local Student Graduates with Honor from Fordham University

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Kira Coleman, of Amherst (Souhegan High School Class of 2017), graduated with her B.A., in cursu honorum, cum laude, from Fordham University, on May 22, 2021.

Local students named to University of Utah Spring 2021 Dean’s List 

SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- The University of Utah congratulates more than 8,700 students who were named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 graded credit hours during any one term.

SNHU Announces Winter 2021 President’s List

MANCHESTER, NH – It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2021 President’s List. The winter term runs from January to May.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

SNHU Announces Winter 2021 Dean’s List

MANCHESTER, NH -- It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Winter 2021 Dean’s List. The winter term runs from January to May.

Full-time students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.

Nazareth College Student Amber Schaffer of Amherst Earns Spring 2021 Dean’s List Honors

ROCHESTER, NY -- Nazareth College is proud to announce that Amber Schaffer of Amherst, NH has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. Schaffer is studying Public Health.

A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.

University of New Hampshire Announces May 2021 Graduates

DURHAM, NH – The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in Durham over the weekend of Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23, 2021. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar’s Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. A traditional, in-person commencement ceremony will be scheduled at a future date yet to be determined.

Local Students Graduate From College of the Holy Cross

WORCESTER, MA - Holy Cross celebrated nearly 750 bachelor of arts degree candidates at its 175th Commencement held in person on Friday, May 21 on the College’s Fitton Field.

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a career diplomat and Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, delivered this year’s address virtually to the Class of 2021 and received an honorary degree. 

Seth Learned, of Amherst was among the students receiving degrees.

Bob Jones University Students Named to Dean’s List

GREENVILLE, SC -- The following students are among approximately 800 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester.  The Dean’s List recognizes students who earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

Madeline Peters, a Freshman Interior Architecture and Design major from Amherst, achieved this distinction.

Bob Jones University Students Named to President’s List 

GREENVILLE, SC -- The following local students are among approximately 665 Bob Jones University students named to the President’s List for high academic achievement during the Spring 2021 semester:

Emily Hubbard, a sophomore public health/global health major from Mont Vernon.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.

 

Local Students Graduate From College of the Holy Cross

WORCESTER, MA -- Holy Cross celebrated nearly 750 bachelor of arts degree candidates at its 175th Commencement held in person on Friday, May 21 on the College’s Fitton Field.

Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a career diplomat and Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, delivered this year’s address virtually to the Class of 2021 and received an honorary degree.

Local Students Graduate from St. Lawrence University

CANTON, NY-- More than 450 members of St. Lawrence University’s Class of 2021 earned their degree following the University’s Commencement ceremonies, held Sunday, April 18, at Newell Field House in Canton, New York.

Emily R. Grudzien from Amherst, NH, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies-English. Grudzien attended Souhegan High School.

Sophia Alusya A. Nikolenko from Amherst, NH, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental studies.
