Emergency Post ~ March 20, 2020

n the midst of the current pandemic which has spread across the

country, Amherst confronts the current situation with resolve and a

spirit of community.  We appreciate those among us who continue to work for the essential town departments.  It is reassuring to know that those who serve are vigilant and prepared to perform their mission in the face of mounting peril.  Thank you.

      Our professionals in the school

department continue their work with our

children and again we can be confident of

their on-line teaching skills and their unwavering

commitment to their students.  They have shown

themselves to be inspiring role models as they

teach the next generation about responsibility.
