Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
2 Main St, Amherst, NH

The new nonprofit, Amherst German Christmas Market, will host its 2nd outdoor European-inspired market on the historic Amherst Village Common, Saturday December 9, 10:00am-7:00pm.

The American-German hybrid market will include local: artisans, farms, nonprofits, and European imports. Enjoy the food trucks, biergarten, live musical performances, Santa Claus, and more! The atmosphere becomes especially festive when the sun goes down and the lights turn on!

We designed the market expecting a turnout similar to that of our other community events. We were blown away by the number of last year’s attendees; many thousands more than anticipated. This year we redesigned the event to better accommodate larger numbers but it’s still hard to know what to expect. We can only learn and reevaluate as we go. We greatly appreciate Amherst's understanding and cooperation during these early years!

Our dedicated committee has been working tirelessly to put this event together. It wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support from the Town of Amherst, the Amherst Historical Society (who helped put this concept in motion), our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and attendees!

We appreciate the patience and support we’ve received from the community, hearing that people enjoy it means so much to us! Much more information, including vendor details and sponsors on our official website:  https://amherstchristmasmarket.org/
