AMHERST – Lorraine Alice Hamilton of Amherst, New Hampshire, Beach Haven, New Jersey and Rancho Mirage, California died June 14, 2020 from pancreatic cancer at her home in California. She was 73 years old and a participant in the trial of a new cancer drug at NYU Langone in New York City since April 2019. She hoped that results from the trial would improve care for other patients who develop this cancer. She was with her family when she died and was

COACHES
Director of Coaching Ruben Resendes oversees all boys' teams. He was a standout player at SNHU and played one year professionally in Iceland's top division. He is now the Head Coach of Franklin Pierce University's Men's Team.
Director of Coaching Dan Milton oversees all girls' teams. He was a standout player at SNHU and jumped into collegiate-level coaching upon graduating. He is now the First Assistant Coach of Franklin Pierce University's Women's Team.
Ariel Teixeira coaches several girls' teams, leading her to be named NH Coach of the Year for travel soccer in 2020. She was a 4-year starter at SNHU before graduating and transitioning into a coaching role for the program. She is SNHU's Assistant Coach.
Mark Smith has been the Director of the Early Development Program for over 10 years. In addition to overseeing EDP, he leads competitive travel teams for ASC/HU.
Elie Monteiro has coached the high school age group of girls for over 10 years. His collegiate coaching career spans over 20 years as he currently serves as the Head Coach of SNHU's Women's Team.
Molly Dix has coached various ages for ASC and Hampshire for over 20 years. She is a NCAA Champion two times over with the University of Rochester.
Ed Royer is a New England Revolution Academy Team coach, providing a connection to the MLS club for HU. He is on staff for the Men's Team at New England College.
Dimitri Elias is an HU alumnus turned coach. He started coaching in Spring 2015 and is now a year-round coach, winning 2020's Boys' Competitive Coach of the Year.
Elisabeth Larson has coached various age groups for Hampshire since 2009. She played soccer for Wellesley College where she was an Academic All-American.
Russ Matthews has been a Hampshire coach for over 8 years. He is the Milford High Girls' Varsity Head Coach where he was recently named "Large High School Coach of the Year" by the US Soccer Coaches' Association.
Sarah Barrett has been coaching for ASC/HU since 2017 in the EDP program. She played for Wheaton College. Sarah helps the Amherst Rec Soccer program each fall, winning Recreation Volunteer of the Year in 2020.
